Each challenge will force students to read carefully to find the answers. Answer sheets and Crack the Code coupons for winners are also included.
THE CHALLENGE:
Students have just joined the Global Wildlife Research Team and arrived at the NurtureNest Research Facility, a high-tech lab deep in one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems. Their mission? To uncover the secrets of animal motherhood—how mothers protect and nurture their young to ensure survival.
But when a sudden storm cuts power and locks the lab’s data, students must act fast. To restore the system, they’ll solve clues and uncover a password using what they learn about orangutans, polar bears, elephants, cheetahs, and emperor penguins.
Through teamwork, reasoning, and close reading, students will complete four engaging challenges to bring the lab back online. In the end, they’ll not only solve the mystery but also gain a deeper appreciation for the strength and devotion of animal moms.
